Amplify Austin
Help us turn up the volume on COHI's impact in the world, give to COHI during Amplify Austin!
This event is a 24 hour on line giving day hosted by a national groups called I Live Here, I Give Here. The goal is to raise the profile of Austin's non-profit organizations and to raise funds for the work that we do at the same time. There are over $160,000 available in matching prizes for COHI throughout the day for most funds raised, most individual fundraising pages created, number of donations given, and others.
Join us by giving, and then by telling everyone you know that you did!
What a donation can do:
- $25 buys a birth kit
- $50 a generator for when the power goes out, so life savings services are still available
- $100 a bicycle for midwives to be able to reach their clients
- $250 a USB hand held ultrasound machine that can be plugged into a phone enabling specialty care to be available through telemedicne and skype
- $500 a motorbike to be used by a midwife to reach clients far away
- $1000 a salary for a midwife

Circle of Health International Clothing Swap Fundraiser!People are encouraged to bring clothes, jewelry, shoes to swap! Tables will be set up and everyone will display what they have brought. People will be able to take anything that is put out. Any leftovers will be donated. Food and alcohol will be provided. Sports Basement will offer a 10% discount on purchases for the day and will donate the money saved back to COHI. Suggested donation of $20 |

Circle of Health International Fundraising DayWe are excited that COHI is part of Amplify Austin, a new citywide day of giving benefiting organizations in Austin, Texas. Though COHI runs its headquarters out of Austin, anyone, anywhere, can give through this web-based event. RSVP now to be on the list for instructions on how to donate $25 or more to Circle of Health International between the hours of 7 PM CST March 4th and 7 PM CST March 5th. Through your donations on March 4-5, you'll provide Syrian refugee women with critical resources for safety in the refugee camps. Thanks to you COHI can continue to respond to the needs of women and the health care providers who serve them. Your donation will make a difference to thousands of women and their families. We consider it a great honor and privilege to serve in this way and hope you do too! |
